ROCKY MOUNTAIN FRIENDS OF NEPAL, NEPALI NEW YEAR 2067 CELEBRATION April 17, 2010 Lake Middle School 1820 Lowell Blvd, Denver CO 80204 Dear Member, Greetings from RMFN! Its almost that time of the year when we say goodbye to Nepali Year BS 2066 and welcome Nepali New Year BS 2067. This year we are planning to organize a diverse and lively program to celebrate the occasion. It is our community’s program and each of you is invited to make it successful by participating, performing, volunteering or simply, attending. A plethora of programs will ensue starting at 2.00 p.m. on April 17th. An NRN town-hall type meeting is scheduled at 3 P.M. Representatives of the NRN Association will be visiting Denver to apprise our members about the initiatives taken by them for NRN rights. The Nepali Ambassador to the United States, H. E. Dr. Shankar Raj Sharma has agreed to grace the ceremony and will participate in the NRN meeting as well as the cultural show. We are also trying to confirm the presence of some local dignitaries at the meeting. A Health Fair in collaboration with CAHEP will also be held so that community members can avail free health screenings. General assembly of all the members will follow the NRN town-hall meeting. Finally, dinner/socialization and a cultural program will take place. Please look the inside pages of this flyer for time and details.
