Rocky Mountain Friends of Nepal, Dashain/Tihar Bhela

Thanks to the community and volunteers for a successful Dashain/Tihar Bhela. Despite the poor weather, a lot of community member showed up for the celebrations.

During the celebrations, Shabdamala (a web-based Nepali reading and writing program) donated two raffle prizes to the Rocky Mountain Friends of Nepal . Out of 13 participants, two winners were selected by a lucky draw. The lucky winners are Aahana Lamsal (daughter of Bijesh and Namrata Lamsal) and Simone Adhikari (daughter of Sashi Raj and Navina Adhikari). Many congratulations to both Aahana and Simone.
