RMFN is seeking nominations for three vacant positions. Two of the positions are for Board of Directors and one for Technical Officer.

The EC/BOD has to fill up vacant positions within two quarters of vacancies; see RMFN Bylaws Section VIII Clause (i), available by clicking on “About Us” in the Menu options that appear on the left-hand side of this screen. Eligible members interested in the above vacant positions are requested to send email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Technical officer position requires at least one year prior membership of RMFN and the job description are as follows:

“Technical officer, in consultation with the President and the executive officers, shall be responsible for smoothly running the official website of RMFN, periodically updating it, utilizing the latest technologies for online database systems for memberships processing and renewals and online event ticket sales.”

Valid RMFN membership is needed at the time of appointment for serving as a board member in the 21-member RMFN board. The BOD advises the executive committee and assists the RMFN in its activities; see Section IV, Article II of the Bylaws.

The appointment shall be for a term that lasts until a new executive committee and board is installed through an election process in March 2011.

The final selection authority for filling up the vacant positions lies with the executive committee and the BOD. Let us know of your interest in these positions by April 30, 2010.

We also welcome volunteers without position. There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer and serve the community. We shall not only welcome your help with current activities, but also new ideas and initiatives that involve youth and kids.
