Help Bipashwi Baral (Bippu) | Print |  E-mail

On July 22nd, 2010, a little past midnight while driving back home, after a long day at work, Bipashwi Baral (Bippu) crashed head on with an oncoming vehicle, two miles away from Estes Park downtown. The head-on collision was so severe that the paramedics had to cut open the roof of his vehicle to take him out to safety. However, this was just half the battle. Bipashwi had already lost 2/3 of blood from his body, due to several internal injuriebippus. He was air lifted in a helicopter to a hospital in Loveland, where he went through medical surgery. In the morning, doctors reported with several fractures in Bipashwi’s lower body, bruised lungs and liver, severe concussion, several fractures in both legs, and broken ankles. Bipashwi has already started to regain consciousness over the last few days by opening his eyes and gesturing. From what we understand from doctors, this is going to be a long road to recovery for Bipashwi, but not impossible. We, friends and family, are praying and very hopeful that he will recover over the next few weeks and months.

For anyone who has gone through or has seen a loved one go through a difficult time like this, for sure, can imagine the plethora of emotions his family and friends are going through. Thus, we, group of friends, are trying to raise funds to help Bipashwi through his road to full recovery. We are reaching out to the NEPALESE COMMUNITY for any kind of help and assistance.

Please click here to visit Bipashwi's Page on Facebook and make donations. Also, search for  "Help Bipashwi Baral" in Facebook search and click "like".
